Recent safety studies on safety interventions and OHS management systems with Johnny Dyreborg
Danish senior researcher Johnny Dyreborg will give us a summery on the immersive study “Safety interventions for the prevention of accidents at work: A systematic review” (2022) and on a smaller study that looked at OHS efforts in relation to being certified with a OSH management system.
Tid & Plats
16 mars 10:00 – 12:00 CET
Each year, accidents at work result in an estimated 380 000+ fatalities worldwide. In the European Union some 3 700 fatalities happen each year.
In promoting accident prevention at our workplaces and industries, some kind of safety interventions are often implemented and considered to tackle these horrid numbers and the human suffering they cause. But what kind of safety interventions are the most effective and what are the main findings of research done on the subject?
To answer this, we are happy to welcome the Danish senior researcher Johnny Dyreborg to SÄKU!
Johnny works at the Danish research institution National Research Centre for the Working Environment (Det Nationale Forskningscenter for Arbejdsmiljø) and has been the principle investigator and first author of the immersive study “Safety interventions for the prevention of accidents at work: A systematic review”, published in 2022.
The study is the largest systemic review of its kind and is the result of a collective work effort of eleven people over more than a ten year period. The study and its key findings have attracted a lot of interest from Danish ministries and policy makers. We very pleased of now giving you the opportunity to have the report presented to you!
As a bonus, Johnny will also be presenting another recent study from 2022 - one that compared differences in OHS efforts between companies that adopted certified OSH management systems and those that did not.
As always, you has an audience will also get the chance to ask your questions.
The webinar will be held in English.
Warm welcome and hope to see you there!
