What?

The brain – about 1.5 kgs of tissue, fat and fluids that controls us, shapes our impression of the world around us and of the world inside us. It’s therefore also the home of bias, blindspots and emotions.  These aspects also help shape our expectations, assumptions and beliefs about safety in our systems of individuals, technology and organizational structure.

In order to better understand how we can harness the research done on the brain about these matters in a more practical approach, SÄKU is happy to welcome Mark Vollmer for a webinar based around this!

On the topic of biases and blindspots, Mark will help us understand how individuals form bias and unconscious bias,  and how blind spots impact our performance as well as people around us.  This in order to better understand what happens, why things happens, and how to recognise, control and manage ourselves.

With emotional intelligence, Mark will help clarify what emotions really are and why we have them.  From there we will look at how we can manage our reactions to situations and how we can help other people regain their control after they are caught off guard.

As always, you as an audience will get the chance to ask Mark your questions.

The webinar will be held in English.

Warm welcome and hope to see you there!
